On Cue Players - Rachel DaCosta

Rachel began her stage career as an Elf for the Alcan Christmas parties, where she enjoyed making the children laugh. By the time she reached Grade 11 at Mount Elizabeth High School she had entered the Musical Theatre programme, although she says she was not sure what she was getting into! What she was getting into was GREASE, the ever popular teen rocker romance and in which she took the role of Frenchy. This was followed the next year with her taking on the part of Jill in GET SMART. What she finds most rewarding within the high school and community theatre groups are the long-lasting friendships that occur between people who love to theatre both in front of and behind the footlights.
