On Cue Players - David Hamilton

I've been interested in acting all my life, but only recently started when in early 2006 I played Bensonhurst for the schools production of "Murders In The Heir". It was my first time on stage and I loved it. I then was part of a play called "Remembrance" written by John Rowe. The play was power full, and won 5 awards at the Northwest High School Drama festival which was held in Smithers in spring 2006. Quick to get back at it, I was offered to take part in the "Arts Umbrella Outreach Program" in June 2006 and learned a lot of techniques to help develop a character. I also learned how to use only music and body motion to tell a story.

Why I love acting:

I've found that as a person I have many different sides, and acting allows you to explore those different characters you have within you. I love getting to be someone else for a while, and living in a different world. Acting is a lot about observing peoples habits, and then recreating them. Its just to me a great output for all negative energy that we face everyday in the world, and at this time in my life I'm just so thank full to be given these opportunities and only want to further my acting experiences.
